The Album module is used to centrally upload and manage all image data on the platform, allowing users to create different albums for various categories, commonly used for sharing event highlights or photos of teaching environments. This module supports searching albums by title or description, adding new albums, editing album titles and descriptions, and setting viewing permissions. Additionally, it provides batch photo uploads, deletion of individual photos, and setting album covers, effectively visualizing platform-related content.


Album Feature Description

  • Add Album: Users can click the "Add" button on the album page to create a new album. When creating, users can fill in the "Album Title" and "Album Description."
  • Upload Photos: In the album editing interface, there is an "Upload" section. Users can add photos to the upload queue here, and then click the "Start All Uploads" button to upload all selected photos. To cancel uploads not yet started, use the "Cancel All Uploads" button.
  • Delete Photo: In the album editing interface, each photo displayed has a "🗑" button beside it. Users can click this button to delete the specific photo.
  • Set Permissions: In the album editing interface, the viewing permissions for the album can be set. Options include "Unlimited" (viewable by everyone), "Allow Anonymous" (viewable by anonymous users), and "Authorized Only" (viewable only by specific classes).
  • Delete Album: In the album editing interface, users can delete the entire album by clicking the "Delete" button.

Operation Steps

Add Album

  1. After logging in, navigate to "Admin Area > Album."
  2. Enter the album title and description.
  3. Click "Add."

Upload Photos

  1. Click on any previously created album.
  2. Click "Click here to add photos" under "Upload," then select photos from your computer.
  3. After selection, click "Start All Uploads" to upload photos to the platform.
  4. Click "Save" to complete the upload.

Delete Photo

  1. Click on any previously created album.
  2. In the "Photos" section at the bottom, click the "Trash Bin" icon on the top right corner of the photo you want to delete.
  3. Click "Save" to update the album.

Set Permissions

  1. Click on any previously created album.

  2. Under "Viewing Permissions," select from the available options:

    • Unlimited: Everyone can view this album.
    • Allow Anonymous: Allows anonymous users to view the album.
    • Authorized Only: Only members of specific classes can view this album.
  3. Click "Save" to update permissions.

Delete Album

  1. Click on any previously created album.
  2. Click the "Delete" button on the interface to remove the entire album.
