The Viewing Codes module is used to generate, query, and manage redemption codes for courses or services on the platform. This module supports multiple types of codes and provides filtering and search functionalities. Administrators can batch process codes and view detailed information for each code, including QR Codes, redemption page links, expiration dates, and a complete modification history. This module is particularly suited for educational institutions or online learning platforms, effectively and flexibly distributing course permissions or points for promotional activities and student management.


Viewing Codes Features Description

  • Add Viewing Codes: This function is used to create new redemption codes. Administrators can choose to generate codes of type "Points Card," "Course Package," or "Single Course," and fill in relevant information such as quantity, points/duration, status, etc., based on the selected type.

  • Search and Filter Viewing Codes: Administrators can quickly locate specific codes by entering a "viewing code/identifier" and using dropdown menus for "Category" (e.g., "Points Card," "Course View") and "Status" (e.g., "Enabled," "Disabled," "Redeemed") for multi-filtering.

  • Modify Viewing Code Settings: Administrators can view and modify detailed properties of individual codes and access a comprehensive "Modification History" that tracks all changes.

Adding Viewing Codes

  1. After logging in, navigate to "Admin Area > Viewing Codes."

  2. Click the "Add" button at the top of the "Viewing Codes" interface.

  3. A "Please Select" window will appear. Choose the type of code you wish to add, options include: "Points Card," "Course Package," or "Single Course."

  4. Fill in relevant information based on the selected code type:

    • Points Card: Enter the number of cards to generate, points per card, and card status.
    • Course Package: Enter the number of codes to generate, the duration (days) users have access after redemption, an optional identifier, select a "Class Data" (course bundle) to bind from the dropdown menu, and set an initial status.
    • Single Course: Enter the number of codes to generate, initial status, and use the two-layer dropdown menu to select the "Class" (course main category) and the specific "Video" (individual course video) under it.
  5. After completing all required information, click "Save" to finish creating the codes.

Searching and Filtering Viewing Codes

  1. Enter specific codes or identifiers in the "Viewing Codes" input box for precise search.
  2. Click the "Category" dropdown menu to select code types such as "All," "Points Card," "Course View," or "Single Course" for filtering.
  3. Click the "Status" dropdown menu to select status options such as "All," "Available," "Enabled," "Redeemed," or "Disabled."
  4. After setting your filters, click the "Search" button (magnifying glass icon) to execute the search.

Modifying Viewing Code Settings

  1. Locate the viewing code you wish to modify in the data list. Click the "Modify" button in the list, or select it via checkbox and click the top "Modify" button to open the "Modify Viewing Code Settings" pop-up window.

  2. In the pop-up window, you can view and modify detailed attributes of the code:

    • Adjust the code "Status."
    • View automatically generated "QR Code," "Embed Code," and "QR Code Page" links.
    • Confirm "Course Binding" details.
    • Review the complete modification history, including "Time," "Content," "Source IP Address," and "Operator."
  3. After modifications, click "Save" to apply changes. To discard all changes, click "Cancel."

Batch Operations on Codes (Enable/Delete)

  1. Select multiple viewing codes for batch operations by checking the boxes next to each entry in the data list.
  2. Click the top "Enable" button to activate selected codes.
  3. To delete selected codes, click the "Delete" button.

Export Selected Data

  1. Select multiple viewing codes for export by checking the boxes next to each entry in the data list.
  2. Click the "Export (Selected) Data" button at the top right to export the selected code data into a CSV file.
